Wednesday for Worksop
Sheffield Wednesday Ladies FC are pleased to announce that they have signed a new deal with 1861 Leisure Ltd. This will see the Owls play their home fixtures at the Sandy Lane Ground in Worksop (pictured).

Their last two remaining home league matches this season, against OOH Lincoln Ladies on 12th April and Preston North End on 3rd May, will both be played at Sandy Lane, 2pm KO, along with all the Owls home fixtures for 2009-2010 FA Women's Premier League campaign.

SWLFC Committee management and players would like to thank all at Maltby Miners Welfare for their time and work over the last two years, where they have been based.

The Owls have been through a transition period in the last 2 months, with a new board putting into place many changes. Moving to the excellent set-up at Worksop is one of the few pieces in a very large jigsaw, that the Owls hope will assist them in their mission to be one of the most successful womens sides in the county.

They are always looking for people to get involved with the club, so if you would like to get involved with Sheffields premier club, either as a sponsor, player (over 16) or volunteer, please contact Jeff Maslin at dmaslin030770@aol.com... yes...
