Chairmans End of Year Statement
Well as a another year passes and a new decade starts I would like to take this opportuninty to say some thank yous and some goodbyes.

First of all I would like to say a massive thanks to Dorothy, our secretary, as of the 31st December she is handing over the reigns to Carole Hanson. Dorothy has been a rock to me, keeping me in touch with the FA and making our lives generally easier. Without her this club could not have functioned, so on behalf of SWWFC we wish her well in whatever she chooses to do with the spare time she will now enjoy and hope to see her down at Worksop once or twice. As one door closes another door opens and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Carole into our mad world. I am sure she will keep us in our place as well as Dorothy did. Welcome Carole.

There are a few thanks I would like to give out, firstly my wife Debbie, not only does she help out with the finances she also when available physio's for the management team, and helps sort out the home games with me. Thanks Deb. I would also like to thank John and Brenda Windle. Without them we would all go hungry. Sunday after Sunday they put on a spread that keeps everyone fed and fueled. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Jane and her staff at Worksop Town who are perfect hosts. They make us feel welcome everytime we play there.

Sadly there were some departures this season for various reasons. I would like to place on record my thanks to Dan Duke, Liam Kelly and Scott Turner. All have left the club to take on different pusuits. We wish them well in whatever they do.

Along with departures we have some new arrivals as well, Andy Burgess has come in to manage the squad. He has now got the girls working as a squad and I expect him to consolidate this season ready for a possible promotion run next season. Andy was a great capture for SWWFC and can only make us a stronger squad. Along with Andy came Dave Carr, who assists Andy in goalkeeper coaching and on match days.

New players have joined the club this season they are: Hayley Sharpe, Emily Scott, Rachel Lee, Sarah Danby (transferred to Sunderland), Lisa Sandys, Stacey Emmonds, Chantelle Parry, Louise Worral, Emma Koo, Fliss Middleton and Shelley Donohoe.

I would also like to thabk all sponsors that have helped us this season, whether it be personal or team sponsorship. Your help is invaluable. I would also like to personally thank Rob at Soccerade who has helped us on more than 1 occasion. Also to Marcus Brameld who donated a minibus to the club for away fixtures. I would also like to thank Alan for his brilliant photography which makes up the majority of our gallery.

That just leaves me to say thank you to anyone that has been involved with SWWFC this season so far and I am looking forward to working with you again in 2010. There are things happening that would only benefit the club, this includes closer links to the mens club and other sponsors promising to coming in.

Finally everyone at SWWFC, palyers and staff would like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year, and hopefully we will see you all again in 2010.
